Robert Chalfin is the founder and CEO of The Chalfin
Group, Inc. An attorney and CPA, since 1990 he has also been a Lecturer in Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he teaches graduate-level courses on
acquiring closely held businesses to MBA candidates.
Bob Chalfin is the author of the book Selling Your IT Business: Valuation, Finding the Right Buyer, and Negotiating the Deal which leverages his business background and expertise buying and selling IT businesses. The book is published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (2006).
Bob Chalfin has served as a court-appointed receiver, administrator, fiscal agent, and
valuation expert. He was cited in The Best Lawyers in America Directory of Experts in the area of business valuation, New Jersey Super Lawyers in the area of closely held business, and in New Jersey’s Top Rated Lawyers in the area of business and commercial. He was the recipient of the 2009 Middlesex County Bar Association Non-Litigation Attorney Award.
In addition to being an avid fan, Bob Chalfin owns minority interests in three minor
league baseball teams.
