Robert Chalfin started working with a West Coast software firm. At that time the firm had about 65 employees and revenues of $6 million. Mr. Chalfin was elected to the firm's board of directors. His responsibilities included strategic planning and positioning the company for sale. Within three years the firm had grown to over 200 employees with sales of over $20 million.
